Urbex Shoot at ‘The Gem’ with Freya

The Gem is a new shooting space in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham run by Tip Top Photography Studio. It opened for business a couple of weeks ago and I was one of the first photographers to give it a try (well apart from this guy).

The Gem is basically an ‘urbex‘ location that is safe in that you aren’t going to be disturbed by owners, security guards or the police. Here are some of the images I created with the model Freya. As ever, all were taken with the Olympus OM-D E-M5 and M.ZUIKO 25mm and 45mm f/1.8 prime lenses. Post processing using Perfect Photo Suite 8.5. Everything taken using ambient light which is in abundance at The Gem.
